The typical key, which is usually included with a cordless siren to switch it on and off, is also omitted here. Thanks to the new, encrypted Bluetooth technology, the siren recognizes the state of the alarm system and reports the alarm automatically when manipulated in the armed state. Checking the radio link protects the system from so-called whining. If the radio link is disturbed by an interference signal in the armed state, the siren triggers the alarm on the vehicle. Thanks to the small size, the cordless siren can also be easily installed in newer vehicles. This siren is ideal for leasing vehicles or classic cars where additional holes for a siren holder are not required. Thanks to its bottle design of only 19 mm, it can be glued to a component in the vehicle. Due to the latest Bluetooth standard, the siren manages with an extremely low power consumption of less than 1 mA in standby mode. It is therefore not localized by the most sensitive vehicle electronics as a source of errors. The siren is compatible with all Pandora alarm systems that have a Bluetooth function.
