Ampire AS100-2G - Tilt sensor tow protection for alarm systems

The AS100-2G is a digital tilt sensor or position sensor. This sensor, developed by Ampire Electronics, works on a multi-dimensional level. This means that it does not matter whether you tilt the vehicle forwards, backwards or sideways, the alarm goes off. The sensor also detects movement in or against the direction of travel if the vehicle is moved. This sensor adjusts itself and never needs to be readjusted. Of course, it also detects whether you are parking on a slope, for example, and readjusts its basic position every time the alarm system is activated. The best place to install it is under the driver or passenger seat, far out on the sill area. The sensor is absolutely insensitive to heat sources or loud noise sources.

Important note

The AS100-2G must not be connected to a constant power supply. It must only be supplied with power when the alarm system is armed. Please use the "ground when armed" output of the alarm system. The sensor calibrates itself in the first 60 seconds.
