Battery Regulation

Batteries do not belong in household waste.

According to Section 1, Paragraph 1, Sentence 2 of the Battery Act, the Battery Act also applies to batteries that are built into other products or attached to other products. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can hand in your old batteries at the public collection points in your community or anywhere that sells batteries of the relevant type. You can also return your batteries free of charge by mail order. If you want to use the latter option, please send your old batteries to our address (carriage collect deliveries will be refused). You will find these symbols on batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances: Pb = battery contains lead. Note: The estimated battery service life of 3 to 5 years can be achieved under optimal operating conditions if the battery temperature is constantly 20°C, the battery is charged with a floating charge voltage of 2.275V/cell and the effective ripple superimposed on the constant charge current does not exceed 0.1CA.
