The CAN firewall is the first retrofittable electronic immobilizer that communicates bidirectionally exclusively via the car's CAN/LIN data bus. This digital immobilizer protects your car from theft by extending the range of the keyless key, teaching additional vehicle keys, hacking the radio code of the vehicle key and even if your own vehicle key is stolen. Only towing is still possible, because a car thief will never be able to drive away with your car. The brand new WFS400-LIN and WFS400-PRO are the second generation of the CAN firewall and have been optimized, improved and expanded in many functions compared to their predecessors.

The WFS400-LIN does not require any additional remote controls, transponders or driver cards. No flashing LEDs or keypads can lead to conclusions about the hidden installation location of the electronics, which are only 25x20x7mm in size. The system arms itself automatically when the ignition is switched off. Only existing buttons in your car are used to disarm the system. You determine any 1-15 digit code using buttons on the steering wheel, navigation or dashboard. To disarm the system, this key code must be pressed before each journey. As easy as entering the PIN on your debit card.

The new WFS400 sets a new standard with a quiescent current of just 0.3 mA, making it >94% lower than its predecessor, the WFS300. In addition, the larger storage capacity means that the software for all vehicles is already installed. The new immobilizers are connected to the engine and interior CAN and therefore offer you a much larger number of possible buttons for entering the PIN.

In addition to the WFS400-LIN (code entry only), we also have the WFS400-PRO in our range. You can disarm this immobilizer either by entering the code using buttons or wirelessly using a radio transponder or a smartphone app. The WFS400-LIN is particularly suitable for vehicles that are not moved regularly, because without radio transmission the immobilizer's power consumption is significantly reduced.

Of course, the immobilizers have been tested for electromagnetic compatibility, have CE and E approval and are registered with WEEE and LUCID.

Important operating instructions

The WFS400, WFS400-SMART, WFS400-LIN, WFS400-PRO and WFS400-SMART-LIN block the vehicle via the car's data bus in the event of theft. This CAN/LIN data bus blockage can generate an error message in the diagnostic protocol. For this reason, avoid unnecessary blocking and testing of the function.
