The CAN/LIN data bus firewall is the first retrofittable immobilizer that communicates bidirectionally exclusively via the car's CAN/LIN data bus.
This digital immobilizer protects your car against theft by extending the range of the keyless key, teaching additional vehicle keys, hacking the radio code of the vehicle key and even if your own vehicle key is stolen.
Only towing is still possible, because a car thief will never be able to drive away with your car.
The brand new WFS400-BLU series is the second generation of the CAN firewall and has been optimized, improved and expanded in many functions compared to its predecessor.
The WFS400-BLU has remote controls for automatic disarming.
No flashing LEDs or keypads can lead to conclusions about the hidden installation location of the electronics, which are only 25x20x7mm in size.
The system arms itself automatically when the ignition is switched off. For manual disarming, only existing buttons in your car are required.
You determine any 1-15 digit code using the buttons on the steering wheel, navigation or dashboard, for example.
To disarm, this key code must be pressed before every journey. As easy as entering the PIN for your debit card.
The new WFS400-BLU sets a new standard with a quiescent current of just 0.3mA. In addition, thanks to the larger storage capacity, the software for all vehicles in the compatibility list is already installed.
The new immobilizers communicate with the engine and interior CAN and, if necessary, are also connected to the LIN bus, thus offering you a much larger number of possible buttons for entering the PIN.
In addition to entering the code using buttons, the WFS400-BLU can also automatically disarm itself using the supplied WFST400 radio transponder or via a smartphone app on a compatible Apple iOS/Android smartphone.
Of course, the immobilizers have been tested for electromagnetic compatibility, have CE and E approval and are registered with WEEE and LUCID.
