Batteries do not belong in household waste.

According to Section 1, Paragraph 1, Sentence 2 of the Battery Act, the Battery Act also applies to batteries that are built into other products or attached to other products. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can hand in your old batteries at public collection points in your community or anywhere that sells batteries of the type in question. You can also return your batteries free of charge by mail. If you want to use the latter option, please send your old batteries to our address (carriage collect deliveries will be rejected).

- Pb = battery contains lead

- Cd = battery contains cadmium

- Hg = battery contains mercury
