Kufatec 40612-1 - Soundbooster Komplettset für Audi Außen Extended

The Sound Booster simulates a large-volume engine (V6 / V8) or develops its own sound characteristics - the Active Sound System thus offers the perfect solution for a sonorous exhaust sound at the push of a button.

KUFATEC manufactures the Sound Booster for almost every car brand and model. The requirement is a motor CAN bus system. You can adapt the universal complete set for external installation to your vehicle. You need enough space on the vehicle underbody to attach the sound generator. This has a circumference of approx. 64 cm and a height of approx. 16 cm.
With the EXTENDED version, you receive the Maserati control unit instead of Audi as the external sound module (ESM).

The system at a glance:

• this system is known from Audi, where it is installed ex works in all TDI engines with 313 hp
• The external noise generator "simulates" a large-volume engine and partially drowns out the typical TDI noise
• this sound is not achieved with any sports exhaust system
• in level 1 very subtle sound, for noise sensitive areas
• the KUFATEC Sound Booster Pro gives the entire system a unique sound
• a powerful V6 / V8 (depending on configuration) sound, powerful in sound
• You can choose between 6 sound profiles, we recommend installing the button for the sound profile selection in the front area (e.g. in the driver's footwell)

Note:
It is a universal complete set, whereby the adaptation of the external noise generator to your vehicle must be carried out by you. Metal and welding work may be necessary.
This retrofit changes the noise emissions of the vehicle, the regulations of the StVZO must be observed.

It is a vehicle-specific complete set that has been adapted to a test vehicle. It is possible that mechanical adjustments to fix the external noise generator in your vehicle are still necessary. Because the installation conditions differ depending on the year of construction, equipment, gearbox, exhaust system, drive and motorization. Metal and welding work may be necessary.
