If you want to be able to listen to your music, audio books or navigation from your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth® in maximum sound quality in the car, then the Bluetooth® receivers from the BTR series with aptX(TM) are the solution. You can retrofit wireless A2DP audio streaming to most navigation and car radio systems using Ampire's Bluetooth® receivers. The connection is easy to set up and is automatically re-established via Bluetooth 5.0. The BTR series uses the Bluetooth protocol for headphones on your smartphone and does not affect the functionality of your Bluetooth hands-free system. The BTR100X Bluetooth receiver has been developed for navigation and car radio systems with a cinch input (RCA) and a 12-volt electrical system. Listen to Bluetooth in CD quality with aptX(TM)? As an alternative to the standard Bluetooth, we also have receivers with the codec Bluetooth® aptX(TM). This codec is becoming increasingly popular. If you use devices with the aptX(TM) standard, you can significantly improve the sound quality of your Bluetooth® streams.
What improves Bluetooth® aptX(TM)?
The aptX® codec uses a more efficient method for compressing audio data, which makes better use of the available bandwidth. The prerequisite for aptX(TM) streams is that both the playback device and the transmitter also support Bluetooth aptX(TM). The function can be recognized by the aptX(TM) lettering on the device. The codec supports common audio formats such as MP3 and FLAC.
Which smartphones support Bluetooth® aptX(TM)?
Not all Android smartphones support the Bluetooth® codec aptX(TM). You can check whether your Android smartphone is compatible in the technical data of your smartphone. An Apple iPhone does not support the Bluetooth® codec aptX(TM) in principle.
