KIT-HALO-TRA7S
With the installation kit KIT-HALO-TRA7S you can install a 1-DIN Alpine Halo system with 9 or 11 inch screen (INE-F904D, INE-F904DC, iLX-F115D, iLX-F905D) into a Ford Transit Custom (model year 2018 ->). The kit also allows a horizontal monitor swivel of ±10° for your Alpine device.
The KIT-HALO-TRA7S includes a CAN-to-UART interface with support for the steering wheel remote control buttons (current data protocol including SIRI and OK-Google support). It also includes a plug and play wiring harness to easily connect your Alpine device to the Ford vehicle, a camera cable adapter (Alpine direct-RCA), an antenna adapter and a USB adapter. The wiring harness allows easy access to ignition, speed signal and reverse signal from the CAN bus.
You can even keep the vehicle setting function in the Alpine head unit and includes the handy "Pre-Flight Check" function for motorhome users.
Note
- The KIT-HALO-TRA7S is only compatible with vehicles with original Ford 1-DIN radio (model T15114A) or radio preparation. For vehicles with the original Ford navigation system, the original Ford 1-DIN panel is required. Please ask your dealer.
- Vehicles with original radio and E-Call system: The E-Call system remains functional, but in some cases an error message may be displayed (vehicles with radio preparation do not have this problem).
KIT-HALO-TRA7S for pivoting mounting: Made for Ford Transit Custom
All necessary components are included to ensure a smooth installation of the Alpine Halo. The kit is perfectly matched to the dashboard and electronics of the Ford Transit Custom. The swivel function allows you to turn the monitor of your Alpine Halo towards the driver or passenger - this makes it easier to enter a destination and improves the visibility of the display even in direct sunlight.
Pre-Flight Check
You can use the new "Pre-Flight Check" from Alpine on your Halo screen and customize it. This reminds you before setting off to check all safety-relevant points such as turning off the gas, securing the windows and doors, retracting the satellite antenna, removing the undercarriage chocks, etc. This function can be activated or deactivated yourself.
Steering wheel remote control
In contrast to other manufacturers, the Alpine system is completely controlled using the steering wheel buttons of the Ford Transit Custom. Including buttons for answering and rejecting phones, including SIRI and OK Google support.
Includes all required adapter cables
The KIT-HALO-TRA7S is supplied with all necessary installation accessories. These include: B. an antenna adapter, a camera adapter (Alpine Direct to RCA) and a USB cable adapter.
