Kufatec 38303 - Volkswagen MDI multimedia jack Media-In VW Touareg 7P - RCD550

Retrofit kit MEDIA-IN for connecting an external data carrier (iPod, mp3 player or USB mass storage device)

Suitable for vehicles with factory-installed RCD 550 radio.

ATTENTION:

If the vehicle is NOT equipped with a TELEPHONE at the factory, BEFORE ordering from a VW dealer, check whether the vehicle already has an infotainment gateway at the factory. The dealer can read this out using the VAS diagnostic tester (address A7). If the vehicle does not have address A7, item 38374 is also required - Infotainment gateway for the VW Tourag 7P with radio RCD 550.

If the vehicle is equipped with an AUX-IN socket at the factory, this connection is lost - mp3 players with a jack connection must then be connected via the media-in interface.
Control of the external source (depending on the device), as well as display of music tracks and playlists via the factory radio.
Not suitable for vehicles with factory installed navigation RNS 850.
