The PMX-8DH, which is used with the PMX-8BB hidden media receiver, is a wired display head controller that gives you access to all functions of the receiver. It has an ultra-bright 5-inch TFT color display for optimal display even in full sun, which is visually wet glued to prevent the ingress of dust or moisture. It is IPX6 certified and uses a waterproof encoder knob with white LED button lighting. In addition, it has front panel lighting and sub-controls, a composite video input and a conformally coated printed circuit board to protect the elements.

The wired full-function display head PMX-8DH was developed for use with the PMX-8BB and is the ultimate controller for your digital media system. The device has an ultra bright 5.7 / 12.7 cm TFT display, which was developed and selected for its visibility even in full sunlight. The screen is visually wet glued to the bezel to prevent the ingress of dust or moisture and to ensure that it stays clean and clear.

Access to the user-defined GUI interface is via the waterproof rotary knob and the buttons with white LED backlighting allow easy adjustment of the illuminance levels of the panel and immediate control of sub-levels at the touch of a finger. The display head also has a composite video input for video or camera systems and an easy connection to the hiding device with a multi-pin DIN connector.

The control panel is approved according to IPX6 for the penetration of splash water and has a conformally coated printed circuit board that protects the important electronics. We also validate the device with 500 hours of testing according to ASTM B117 and D4329 test standards to ensure that it can withstand weathering for years of daily use.
