Own phantom power

In order to ensure a secure supply of vehicle-mounted VW / OEM antennas, provides ZENECs ZE-NC-ANT3 ready own phantom power. The ZE-NC ANT3 can quickly and back building land (for leased vehicles) to the power supply and the antenna control output of a radio / Navisystems
be connected. Direct connection to FAKRA antenna cable ZE-NC-ANT3 has four FAKRA inputs (white / beige), so that the vehicle-existing FAKRA antenna cables can be plugged directly into the phantom power adapter. For older vehicles with ISO aerial connection, there is the adapter cable ZENC-ANT380 "ISO-hitch be" on single FAKRA white as accessories.


Easily adaptable to DIN / ISO / FAKRA connector

The two FAKRA outputs (black / pink) can be adjusted by using adapter cables to different radio side terminal situations. In addition to the included exploiting RURAL adapter cables to DIN / ISO or (double) FAKRA connector are other variations available as accessories. The second output can be used for two typical connection scenarios
are:

• for the operation of a dual tuner radio or original VW radios in vehicles with only one antenna
• for the lossless connection of an external TMC tuner
  

Operation of a double tuner radio or original VW radios in vehicles with only one antenna

In order to enable easy installation of a Doppeltuner-Radios/Navisystems in a car with only a factory-installed radio antenna, the ZE-NC-ANT3 can duplicate a single antenna signal loss, so that both radio antenna connections are optimally supplied with the antenna signal of the vehicle. When connecting a VW radios no blue antenna control cable is needed.

Loss-free connection of an external TMC receiver.

External TMC tuner are usually connected between phantom power adapter and radio. Most TMC tuner split the on-board antenna signal into:

• a part of which is passed through to the radio and
• a part which is required for the internal evaluation of the TMC signal.

Without signal conditioning occurs when splitting an attenuation loss of about -3 dB. Thus, the radio receives a weaker antenna signal, which often leads to poorer audible radio reception. The ZE-NC ANT3 avoids these losses by internally lossless "Radio 2/TMC" duplicates the antenna signal (pink FAKRA). The radio is as usual at the "Radio 1" (FAKRA black), the TMC tuner is connected via "Radio 2/TMC" (FAKRA pink). The lossy output of the TMC tuner, from the above, the radio would have been fed is so unused, and the potential losses at the receiving radio can be avoided.
