APPLICATION

Automotive industry, e.g. E.g.: Body construction, cable fastening, sealing, ABS parts, rubber, foam rubber, metals etc. Can be used in any commercially available hot glue gun.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Adhesive type: Synthetic based hot melt adhesive (EVA)

Chemical characterization:Hot-melt adhesive based on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

Working temperature: 180 - 200°C

Viscosity / 200°C: approx. 6,500 mPa.s

Softening point: about 95°C (according to ring and ball)

Delivery form:sticks 11.3 mm / 18.3 mm

PROCESSING

EXMELT95 hot melt adhesive has a long open time with fast setting and good adhesion properties. It forms elastic, impact-resistant adhesive joints with favorable low-temperature flexibility. The surfaces to be glued must be stable, dry and free from grease and release agents. The bondability of surfaces depends on their composition and surface condition and must be checked in advance. Sanding the adhesive surfaces often improves adhesion. (Remove sanding dust). Substrates with good thermal conductivity should be preheated

STORAGE

The product has a shelf life of at least three years under normal storage conditions without any change in product properties. Heat, e.g. exposure to the sun, must be avoided at all costs, since deformation of the cartridges cannot be ruled out.
