Ampire hot glue cartridges, black, automotive up to 95°C

Adhesive specially developed for the automotive industry. Heat stable up to at least 95°C.

• Automotive industry, e.g. E.g.: Bodywork, cable fastening, sealing, ABS parts, rubber, foam rubber, metals, etc. Can be used in any commercially available hot glue gun.

• Adhesive type: Hot melt adhesive on a synthetic basis (EVA)
• Chemical characterization: Hot melt adhesive based on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer
• Working temperature: 180 - 200°C
• Viscosity / 200°C: approx. 6,500 mPa.s
• Softening point: approx. 95°C (after ring and ball)
• Delivery form: Sticks 11.3 mm / 18.3 mm

Processing

The EXMELT95 hot melt adhesive has a long open time with fast setting and good adhesion properties. It forms elastic, impact-resistant adhesive joints with good cold flexibility. The adhesive surfaces must be stable, dry and free of grease and release agents. The bondability of surfaces depends on their composition and surface condition and must be checked in advance. Sanding the adhesive surfaces often improves adhesion. (Remove sanding dust). Substrates that conduct heat well should be preheated

Storage

The product has a shelf life of at least three years under normal storage conditions without any change in product properties. Heat, e.g. exposure to sunlight, must be avoided at all costs, as deformation of the cartridges cannot be ruled out.
