7-inch installation kit for VW Crafter from 2017

The installation kit is required for installing the iLX-702DM in the Volkswagen Crafter from model year 2017.
The KIT-7VW-CRA contains a precisely fitting mechanical frame and mounting bracket (no wiring harness or interface).

Depending on the vehicle configuration, you will also need the following interface:
  • for VW Crafter with radio preparation, the APF-X300VW required
  • for VW Crafter with original radio this APF-X310MIB required

With this optional interface you can continue to use the steering wheel remote control and retain the vehicle menu via your Alpine system.

Please note that iLX-702DM is a modification of the regular iLX-702D. The 1-DIN chassis is located here in the upper position on the back and can therefore be easily installed in your VW Crafter.

The 7-inch Digital Media Station iLX-702D / iLX-702DM is compatible with DAB+, HDMI, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

* Note: Additional installation parts from Volkswagen may be required. Please note that some vehicle menus may be lost (e.g. traffic sign recognition). Some other functions or settings are retained, but can be controlled in a different way.

Vehicles with original radio (Composition Audio, Composition Media or Discover Media) and E-Call system: The E-Call system remains functional - an E-Call adaptation is required to avoid error messages. (Vehicles with radio preparation are excluded).Also suitable for vehicles with radio preparation with 52-pin Power Quadlock connector (MY >2020).
