Many car manufacturers install their own vehicle-specific radios that are visually adapted to the center console.
Installation kits contain all the components for replacing an OEM device.
Depending on the vehicle's equipment, all adapters and interfaces required to operate the retrofit device and restore vehicle functions are included in the scope of delivery.
Please note the installation recommendations for the individual components.
Before installation, check the OEM device and the vehicle menu for various settings.
Please note that in some cases not all functions are supported.
For example, Trailer Assist, E Call or other driver assistance and Comfort systems.
Compare the adapter plugs shown with those in your vehicle and make sure that they fit visually and technically.
Please also check whether one of the specified original factory radios was installed in your vehicle.
Before final assembly, check that the vehicle functions and settings are working.

The following signals are provided:

Reimported vehicles or vehicles with different software may be incompatible in terms of functions.

• red: +12V ignition terminal 15
• orange: +12V lighting terminal 58
• purple/white: +12V reverse signal
• pink: Speed signal
• green: ground GND handbrake signal
• Load capacity of total outputs: 100 mA max.

Current requirement greater than 100 mA:

• 1 relay coil resistance 75 Ohm min.
• 2 relay coil resistance 150 Ohm min

General installation instructions:
Check:

• 1: Check all operating functions and vehicle setting functions of the OEM device
• 2: Dismantle the OEM device without voltage
• 3: Check all interface connections for correctness and continuity without voltage make

Connection and connection sequence:

• 1: Make all connections according to the operating instructions for the retrofit device
• 2: Connect the entire installation to the vehicle with the live connection last
• 3: Configure the retrofit device according to the operating instructions for the retrofit device steering wheel remote control/camera/FSE/antenna phantom power and others
• 4: Functional test of the retrofit device and vehicle

If the interface or the vehicle malfunctions:

• 1: Revert to the OEM device
• 2: Operate the OEM device
• 3: CAN bus rest establish
• 4: Check the hardware configuration of the interface
• 5: Connection after CAN bus rest, see connection and connection sequence
