The watchful eye for your safety

Dashcams are video cameras that continuously record the surroundings through the front and rear windows of the vehicle. The recorded material can be used as evidence in the event of a traffic accident, for example. If your vehicle is damaged by vandalism while parked, dashcams with video and image evidence can also be very helpful. Alpine offers a high-end dashcam with additional driver assistance functions as well as a standard system. Optional camera systems for the rear of the vehicle are also available for both models.

Best recording quality

The camera records in 1080p Full HD at 30 frames per second and has the Sony Exmore STARVIS image sensor for excellent recording quality in the dark. GPS and geo information as well as driving speed are also recorded simultaneously.

Driver assistance and hazard warning

This camera is equipped with many innovative technologies that will support you while driving and warn you of dangers. The lane departure warning system warns you when your vehicle leaves its lane, a collision warning system warns you of vehicles ahead or gives a signal when the vehicle in front starts moving again. You can also access a speed camera database via the DVR-F800PRO and receive warnings if you are approaching a speed camera.

Vehicle monitoring day and night

The DVR-F800PRO has a parking mode that monitors your car day and night. If a collision with another car, a bicycle or similar is registered, the camera stores the video footage for 20 seconds (10 seconds before and after). This makes it very easy to check the exact cause of the collision later.

Dash Cam Viewer for PC and MAC OS

The Alpine Dash Cam Viewer is a free downloadable tool that allows you to play back and view your recorded videos and important information such as GPS locations, impact sensor data and speed at the time of recording. Available for Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10 and MAC OS 10.x
