Best recording quality

The camera records in 1080p Full HD at 30 frames per second and has a CMOS image sensor for excellent recording quality. GPS and geo information as well as driving speed are also recorded at the same time.

Traffic log

As soon as you start the engine of your vehicle, the dash cam will automatically start recording. Recorded videos are saved and overwritten in one-minute segments with an automatic rhythm. In the event of an accident, the Active Impact Monitoring system automatically saves the video data 10 seconds before and after a collision. The storage is triggered by the 3-axis acceleration sensor. The DVR-C310S comes with a 16GB MicroSD card.  

Day and night vehicle surveillance 

The DVR-C310S has a parking mode that monitors your car day and night. If a collision with another car, a bicycle or similar is registered, the camera saves the video material for 20 seconds (10 seconds before and after). This way you can easily check the exact cause of the collision later.  

GPS receiver included

The DVR-C310S comes with a GPS antenna. It allows you to pinpoint the location and routes of the vehicle based on the driving speed on the map. The GPS information helps you to accurately assess the status of an accident by providing the vehicle speed, the direction of the collision and the severity of the impact. The GPS position can be displayed on the digital map in Dashcam Viewer  

Dash Cam Viewer for PC and MAC OS

The ALPINE DASH CAM PC Viewer is a free downloadable tool that allows you to view your recorded videos and important Playback and display information such as GPS locations, impact sensor data and speed at the time of recording. Available for Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10 and MAC OS 10.x  

Dashcam smartphone app

Download the "ALPINE Recording Viewer" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. This allows you to check, download or delete recordings on your smartphone or view a live view of your dash cam (very useful when installing and setting up the camera). Your smartphone connects to the dash cam via WiFi.  

Recommended accessory 

Alpine offers a rear camera (RVC-R310S) for monitoring the rear area while driving and in parking mode . This offers additional security while driving, as well as during parking surveillance. A 6.4m connection cable is included. If you need more data storage, Alpine offers a 64GB Micro SD card (DVM-64SD).  

Speed camera alert

You can download the speedcam database from Alpine's website in Support Area Download and update. This will then give you timely warnings when approaching speed cameras or speed cameras at intersections (legal operation of this feature is subject to local traffic regulations).
