The ZE-RCE3704-2S is simply integrated into the original 3rd brake light: Unscrew the brake light's reflector housing, attach the camera console, connect the cable, reinstall the reflector - done. 

The ZE-RCE3704-2S has two separate camera modules with different focal lengths. With a horizontal field of view of 50ø, Cam1 enables monitoring of more distant objects behind the vehicle - e.g. watching the traffic (digital rear view mirror). Cam2 with 100ø viewing angle and facing down is designed to monitor the area directly behind the vehicle to aid in reverse maneuvering and parking. The vertical image section captured by Cam2 can be set manually and thus individually adjusted.

The high-quality, high-resolution CMOS sensors used offer good light sensitivity and a large dynamic contrast range. The cylinder-shaped Cam2 assembly also contains two powerful LEDs, which, controlled via an LDR light sensor, ensure fully automatic twilight and nighttime illumination. The ZE-RCE3704-2S has an internal microphone as an additional source of acoustic information about what is happening behind the vehicle during manoeuvring.

The supplied system cable is equipped with WAECO / DOMETIC connectors. The connection in vehicles that are factory-equipped with a 6-PIN WAECO / DOMETIC main cable is therefore particularly easy and time-saving. The ZE-RCE3704-2S is compatible with monitors, 1-DIN and 2-DIN multimedia systems and naviceivers that have two CVBS camera inputs (RCA). Thanks to the special camera housing - built according to protection class IP68 - the ZE-RCE3704-2S is optimally protected against splash water and dust. Due to the wide operating temperature range from -20øC to +70øC, there is always a clear view to the rear - even under extreme temperature and weather conditions.
