Unlimited cloud storage

Recordings can be uploaded to the cloud via the internet if the DVR-F790 is connected to the internet via a smartphone hotspot or similar. Best of all, there is no limit to the upload capacity. The ability to access your videos anytime, anywhere provides convenience and flexibility, and allows the user to easily share them with insurance companies or authorities if necessary. This feature requires a free Thinkware cloud account and allows you to view or download content from the cloud 100 times per month.

Excellent image quality in Full HD

High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology ensures optimal exposure and vivid details, even in difficult lighting conditions. Super Night Vision 3.0 offers exceptional clarity when driving at night and enables improved nighttime recording. The wide viewing angle of 140 degrees allows a wide field of view and captures more of the road and surroundings in 1080p Full HD. Dewarping technology guarantees a clean front view with minimal distortion of the vehicle, while eliminating visual irregularities and preserving the true essence of the scene.

Advanced parking monitoring

With Power Saving Mode 2.0, you can have your vehicle monitored for up to 17.5 days / 420 hours. When an impact is detected on your vehicle, the dashcam wakes up within 1 second and records for the next 20 seconds. You will also receive a push notification on your mobile phone and can see what happened immediately on your display (internet connection no. 1). With the time-lapse function, the recording rate is reduced to 2 frames per second, which significantly reduces the file size.

Driver assistance and hazard warning

This camera is equipped with many innovative technologies that will assist you while driving and warn you of hazards. The lane departure warning system warns you when your vehicle leaves its lane, a collision warning system warns you of vehicles ahead or gives a signal when the vehicle in front moves off again. You can also access a speed camera database via the DVR-F790 and receive warnings if you are approaching a speed camera.

Super Night Vision 3.0

The DVR-F790 is ideal for night driving. It is equipped with Super Night Vision 3.0 technology, which increases exposure in low light conditions and improves video brightness so you can see clearly in low light conditions. Night shots won't miss any important details.

GPS driving data

The GPS data in this dash cam can be used to accurately determine the location of the vehicle and routes including speed on the map. The recorded GPS data helps you to accurately assess the accident by recording the vehicle speed, direction of the collision and the severity of the impact. The DVR-F790 not only records journeys, but can also be used to track and recall past driving routes.

Rear camera extension 

Alpine offers an additional rear view camera (RVC-R790) that simultaneously records traffic through the rear window. This gives you additional security while driving and in parking monitoring mode. When recording in 2-channel mode, the included 32GB Micro SD card allows you to record approximately 2 hours in 1080p before non-event footage is overwritten. With an optional 128GB card, this time can be extended to 498 minutes.

Expand to a complete vehicle surveillance system

By connecting the optional RVX-100 camera extension box to the rear recording channel of the DVR-F790, you can add up to 4 additional cameras. This creates a complete indoor/outdoor surveillance system for your vehicle. It can be adapted exactly to your needs.
