With the KVA200 Ampire is bringing a new AHD rear view camera onto the European market that was specially developed for use on vans / box vans / mobile homes. The well-known problem: a rear view camera cannot be easily mounted on vehicles with rear doors.
If you use a conventional built-in camera, you can point it downwards, but the rear of many vehicles is slightly rounded towards the top.
A normal rear view camera would capture this curvature and thereby cover the trailer hitch, the running board or the bumper.
With the special housing of the rear view camera, the camera module itself is placed beyond the curvature and thus captures the entire rear wall, bumper, etc.
Only then is precise maneuvering possible, especially when it is only a matter of a few centimeters. The camera module can be adjusted in angle and can therefore be perfectly adapted to the conditions of your vehicle.
Suitable for universal roof mounting on vans and buses such as Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Fiat Ducato, Volkswagen Crafter and similar vehicles.

Ordering information

This camera is a high-resolution AHD camera with 1080P resolution and 25 frames/second.
This camera can only be connected to compatible monitors, car radios or interfaces.
If the camera input on your monitor can only display a video signal in CVBS, FBAS or NTSC, this AHD camera is unsuitable and you should use the identical CVBS camera with NTSC video signal.
