To install a rear view camera interface or an AV interface with rear view camera input, it is necessary to activate the rear view camera input of the navigation system. This activation can be carried out with the activator. Suitable for retrofitting OEM rear view cameras version Low.

After the first use in a vehicle, the activator for this vehicle (head unit) is personalized and the coding or removal of the coding can be repeated for this vehicle without a limit.

Compatible with VAG vehicles with navigation systems:
- RNS315
- RNS510
- RCD510 with 26-pin connector
- MIB head units with factory OPS

Also suitable for vehicles with factory OPS.

Limitations:

- Coding: No reversing camera may be coded in the diagnostic interface / gateway 19!
- Rear view camera: only NTSC cameras compatible
- not suitable for vehicles without PDC ex works

Important NOTE:

All modules that carry out software via the OBD diagnostic connector in the vehicle, for example, enable TV or perform other software settings, can only be used in a single vehicle. The OBD module reads out the chassis number when it is used for the first time, thereby blocking use in another vehicle. For this reason, OBD modules are excluded from exchange or credit.
