CAN to UART interface with driver information system (FIS) for Audi A3 (8P/8PA) & Audi TT (8J)

For maintaining the functions for steering wheel remote control, instrument cluster display (FIS) and display of the OPS (Optical Parking Sensor)*. In the Audi A3 or TT you need the APF-X304AU from Alpine. 
In this interface the CAN-to-UART signals for ignition, handbrake, speed and the reversing signal are generated. Likewise the arrow display¹  of the navigation in the driver information system (FIS). This means that important functions in the vehicle are retained or even expanded after an Alpine system has been added.
This interface enables the current Alpine screen devices to be connected to the on-board electronics in the Audi A3 (8P/8PA) and Audi TT (8J). This makes installation much easier and enables continued use of the steering wheel remote control and driver information display in combination with the Alpine systems.
*must be supported by the vehicle and may require vehicle programming.
