The image is displayed on the entire factory monitor and the sound is fed in via the audio AUX input of your factory multimedia system. Before ordering, check whether your factory multimedia system also has an audio AUX input or whether it can be retrofitted.

Our smartphone interface is compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, making it a smarter and safer way to use your smartphone in the car. Everything is operated using the vehicle's own buttons and operating systems. Of course, you can also use Siri and OK Google voice control via the microphone provided. Everything you want to do with your smartphone while driving can be done directly on the car's display with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto. You can easily get directions, send and receive messages. While navigating, you can listen to your favorite music, for example via Spotify, or your favorite station via a radio app - and still concentrate on the road.
Simply connect your smartphone to the USB port in our system and off you go.

You can connect your Apple iPhone wirelessly via WiFi even more conveniently. Wireless Apple CarPlay® is possible from the Apple iPhone 5.

VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY

This interface is not compatible with vehicles with the additional equipment 06VA (CIC control). Before purchasing and installing, check whether the product is compatible with your car type, year of manufacture and entertainment system. Incompatibility can lead to damage.
Your entertainment system must have an audio AUX input for sound playback.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT NOTE

The MEDIA IN socket on the housing is not an HDMI input for playing back external HDMI sources. This socket is required for additional modules in some vehicle types. This product is only controlled by buttons and does not support touchscreen or gesture control.
This retrofit is not intended as a hands-free device

INSTALLATION NOTE

This product is used in vehicles with a 12V battery. Please do not install in vehicles with a different voltage. Never extend the HSD signal lines. This product consists of high-precision parts and should therefore not be subjected to strong impacts. Never open the housing. To protect driving safety and avoid violations of traffic laws, never operate the product while driving. The optional rear view cameras are only visible when maneuvering. In addition, always pay attention to your surroundings and never rely solely on the camera. All installation steps should only be carried out by a trained professional. During installation, the ignition must be turned off and the product must not be connected to power until the wiring is complete. NEVER plug or unplug the cables when the power is on to avoid damaging the monitor or the product. Route the cables so that they do not come into contact with metal edges. This may damage the wiring, which may result in fire. Avoid any contact with hot surfaces when wiring the main unit. High temperatures can damage the wiring and cause short circuits, arcing and fire. Please DO NOT install the product in a humid environment to avoid electric shock, damage and fire caused by a short circuit. When you receive the product, please check that all components are in the packaging. If anything is missing, inform the supplier / manufacturer. Start the engine before loading, check the interface to see if the function is displayed, check the key to see if the vehicle interface is working correctly. Please give feedback to the supplier / manufacturer if you have any questions. Please note that you should handle the disassembled vehicle parts carefully during installation and avoid scratches on the instrument panel. Unused connectors must be insulated to avoid short circuits. The cable connections should be well inserted. Avoid interfering with control components such as the steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals.
