This adapter is ideal for exchanging the factory radio in Chevrolet / GMC / Pontiac CAN Bus Class II vehicles including adaptation of the steering wheel buttons for the radio manufacturers Alpine, Sony, Blaupunkt, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, OEM, and Pioneer.

To use the existing steering wheel remote control, the previously separately required SWI-RC interface is already integrated in this adapter!

A complex programming on your vehicle is eliminated.

Thus, the new car radio can now even cheaper and perfectly integrate into the vehicle.

The adapter, if present, controls the vehicle's own amplifier via CAN bus. Represents beside ignition plus with R.A.P. (delayed switch-off) the following signals are available:

• speed signal
• Hand brake signal
• Reversing signal
• instrument lighting

It also controls, if any, the on-vehicle video entertainment system (e.g., ceiling monitor). In order to feed a video signal, the "PAC CHYRVD A / V connection & extension cable" is required in addition.
