Mercedes & Co in subsequent sound improvements are usually associated with great technical effort.

A milestone reached in terms of sound and performance improvement is the Carbon 5plus concept with the 6-channel high-end digital amplifier carboxylic 5plus.

Being Direct Docking principle allows easy integration into existing sound system in combination with a specially hand-made cable sets.

Even existing active systems such as Harman Kardon Logic 7, Bose .. or Dynaudio can now benefit from an exceptionally efficient sound upgrade

 
Overview:Operating Modes
The carbon 5plus provides up to 1,000 watts RMS power available and can vary as desired as 4 -, 5 - or 6-channel amplifier can be configured:

4-channel - Stereo Max working:
4 x 120 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms
5 Channel - Stereo + Sub mode:
4 x 120 watts at 4 ohms + 120/240 watts at 4/2 Ohm RMS
6 channel - stereo + sub + center operations:
4 x 120 Watts RMS at 4 ohms + 120/240 Watts RMS into 4/2 ohms + 60 watts RMS at 4 ohms
     

In addition, the carboxylic 5plus following optional connection available:
Subwoofer volume control + / - 6db:optional (Please request a quotation)
 
Installation instructions carboxylic 5plus:
The carbon 5plus is using the special harness to the existing amplifier (this is used as preamp) connected.

NOTE:A connection via fiber optic MOST bus is not.

The power supply is made directly to the vehicle battery. This ensures an optimal utilization of the power performance (Matching connector accessories are included).
Protection circuits for high temperature (> 80 ° C) and low voltage (<10 V) guarantee an optimal and safe operation of the vehicle
The very compact design allows the installation eg area.The built-in spare time (only amplifier) ??varies depending on vehicle type between 90-150 minutes.

The 100% RETROFIT ability when changing vehicles is thanks to the direct docking principle always guaranteed - this allows it to be used in leasing vehicles.

Functioning carbon 5plus:
The individual settings are the carboxylic eg via a special PC software made via a laptop directly in the vehicle. This allows for an impressive live set-up.

The software provides various setting options, such as:
separate channel (left / right), adjust speaker volume, front and rear
separate channel (left / right) To adjust speaker frequencies front and rear
channel separate set of filters such as high-pass / low pass / bandpass
Subwoofer control with a subsonic filter and phase-shift

All individual set-ups are stored in a database on the laptop and can eg be used later to compare sound, or adjustments.
 
TIP:Installation on the authorized dealers
The installation of a carbon 5plus requires special knowledge in terms of vehicle electronics, construction and installations. Working with an Authorized i-sotec partners (details see below Dealer Locator) is recommended.
