CAN to UART interface with support for the steering wheel remote control and vehicle display for Mercedes Sprinter (906) and other vehicles 

• This interface enables the connection of the latest generation of our Alpine devices with a screen (e.g. iLX-702D, INE-W710D, X802D-U and iLX-F903D) to the electronics of various Mercedes Benz vehicles.
• This greatly simplifies installation and allows the steering wheel buttons and vehicle information display in the instrument cluster to be used with your Alpine product.
• Includes a steering wheel remote control interface (provides CAN to analog conversion for ignition, parking brake, speed signal, SIRI and OK Google support), antenna adapter with phantom power and power quadlock adapter.

Steering wheel remote control support

• The Alpine system communicates perfectly with your vehicle's multifunction steering wheel. This means you won't lose this handy feature if you upgrade to the Alpine system. You have control over volume, phone (answer/hang up), track search forward/backward and other functions. And if a smartphone is connected to the system, you can even activate voice control such as "Siri" via the steering wheel.

Support for the multifunction display in the instrument cluster (KI)

• The multifunction display in the instrument cluster (AI) is connected to the Alpine system and can display station names, song title and artist information, caller names, navigation arrows and much more.
