Active system adapter Mercedes

Active system adapters are used to maintain factory-installed sound systems.

This enables retrofit radios to be connected to an active vehicle system while retaining the OEM amplifier and the connected loudspeakers by adapting, adjusting or converting the output signals of the signal source to the signal input of the OEM amplifier.

Depending on the vehicle and the OEM active system installed, various functions such as faders or sound and subwoofer settings may be omitted.

In individual cases, depending on the OEM system and the retrofit radio, increased hissing or a switching on or off noise may occur.

Check function before final assembly.

Note:  

• Connection: OEM sound system D2B > RCA red/white 
• Connection: loose cables

Remove CD changer / TV tuner / telephone module / navigation module and other components and close the D2B ring > D2B fiber optic connector OEM Mercedes

• Vehicles with Comand 2.0 / 2.5 OEM Navigation 
• Vehicles with Audio 10 / Audio 30 OEM device with ISO / 10 pin ISO connector 
• Vehicles with D2B OEM fiber optic sound system

• Vehicles without Comand APS NTG1 / NTG2 / NTG 2.5 / NTG3 OEM Sat Nav 
• Vehicles without MOST25 light guide system

• yellow: +12V continuous current terminal 30 
• black: ground terminal 31 
• red: +12V switched ignition current terminal 15 
• blue: amp data output > D2B wakeup port 
• blue: no +12V input

Vehicles with Comand 2.0 / 2.5 OEM navigation CD changer:

• CD changer +12V remote / terminal 15 8 pin C1 connector > Pin 6 
• CD changer ground / terminal 31 8 pin C1 connector > Check pin 5 with OEM device before installation

Vehicles with Audio 10 / Audio 30 OEM device / 10 pin ISO connector 

• CD changer +12V remote / terminal 15 10 pin ISO plug > Pin 5 
• CD changer ground / terminal 31 10 pin ISO plug > Check pin 6 with OEM device before installation

Cinch red/white > Front preamp output Aftermarket radio fader function not supported
