Perfect installation in your new Smart

This installation kit  enables a perfect installation of the INE-W997D in the Smart Fortwo and Forfour (BR453). Due to the unique shape of the Smart Radio mount, it is impossible to install a normal 2-DIN navigation system in the dashboard.
The INE-W997D has a fixed 7-inch touchscreen with a 1-DIN housing and is therefore perfect in conjunction with the KIT-W997SMTW or KIT-W997SMTB.
This installation kit is available in Piano Black (KIT-W997SMTB) and Glossy White (KIT-W997SMTW).
All parts for mechanical assembly as well as a CAN-BUS interface for converting functions such as steering wheel remote control, ignition plus, SpeedPuls and handbrake, as well as an antenna adapter are included in this set.

KIT-W997SMTW Contents

  • Installation set (installation frame, metal fasteners and cover)
  • Steering wheel remote control interface with CAN-analog conversion
  • Not compatible with original navigation system and/or JBL sound system.
