Interface for image activation while driving, e.g. for the internal factory DVD player or rear view cameras. Volvo with Sensus Connect S-series, V-series, XC60, XC70 from 2014.

The interface enables the playback of, for example, videos via the internal DVD player or the image of retrofitted rear-view cameras while driving. With USB update port for software updates by the end user.

The driver must not be distracted either directly or indirectly by moving images while driving. In most countries / states, this is prohibited by law. In addition to operation while standing, this product is only intended to display standing menus (e.g. MP3 menu from DVD players) or pictures of the rear-view camera while driving.

Important NOTE:

Viewing moving pictures while driving is prohibited in many countries by law or liability insurance. In Germany, the driver is responsible without a specific prohibition to ensure that his vision and hearing are not impaired by technical devices. The TV activation should only enable the passenger and other vehicle occupants to use the TV and DVD function while driving.
