Easy online navigation

Use your iLX-W690D with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto compatible navigation apps to find your lane and reach it safely. There are many excellent navigation apps (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc.) that also include live traffic information and advanced search functions.

Works with Apple CarPlay

Works with Apple CarPlay allows iPhone users to make and receive calls, have text messages read out, play music and get directions so they can always focus on the road. Most apps are optimized for Siri voice control. Apple CarPlay is compatible with iPhone 5S and above (iPhone must be connected using an Apple Lightning cable).

Works with Android Auto

Designed with road safety in mind, Android Auto works with Google Assistant (USB cable and Bluetooth® connection required - Android ™ smartphone with version 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access Android Auto's Google Assistant, simply say "OK Google" or select the microphone button. With the Google Assistant in Android Auto, users can play their favorite music, get directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and respond to text messages.

Shallow installation depth

The installation depth of the iLX-W690D is only 6 cm and can therefore also be installed in vehicles with a shallow 2-DIN installation depth. For this reason, this device is very versatile and can be very easily upgraded with the KTA-450 amplifier.

Vehicle data bus & rear view camera connectivity

If your vehicle is equipped with original parking sensors, this functionality is also retained when upgrading to the Alpine system. The parking sensor system is connected to the Alpine display to clearly show obstacles when parking the vehicle. You can also connect Alpine rear view or front cameras for greater driving safety. Bluetooth integrated

The built-in Bluetooth module enables hands-free operation of your mobile phone while driving. You can also stream your music to your Alpine iLX-W690D via Bluetooth and enjoy the sound through your car's audio system.
