DAB + (N7 platform)
The DAB + tuner enables digital radio reception for all Dynavin devices. Digital radio is recommended for trouble-free radio enjoyment in the best sound quality and ease of use. Especially in the car, digital radio can make excellent use of its strengths, because noise or interference are as much a thing of the past as, for example, the annoying frequency search. Digital multipath technology ensures brilliant transmission quality even at high speeds. Thanks to the seamless blending technology, a continuous and trouble-free reception is guaranteed. Capavitive touch screen and anti-reflection display
The new N7 platform has also been given a new capacitive touchscreen. In contrast to the old N6 Platfform no pressure has to be exerted on the new touch screen. Just one touch is enough to carry out an action. Capacitive touch panels are more resistant to scratches and more intuitive to use. Thanks to the new anti-reflection display, you can still see something even when there is more sunlight on the device.

Freely assignable hardware function key
The button is located on the front of the multifunction device (not on N7-6205). This allows you to control any function. You can replace the function of this button with another function at any time.

Android Link
Android Link allows you to control the supported apps directly from the radio. Depending on which Android Link app you downloaded for the radio, the menu interface of this feature varies. To use Android Link, you need to connect the smartphone to the radio via USB. A more detailed description of commissioning can be found in the operating instructions.

Dual tuner and diversity system
The Dynavin N7 series has a double radio tuner that always guarantees you optimal reception.
Thanks to the new dual Fakra connections, you can now also use OEM Fakra antennas directly from the vehicle. Also, the diversity function has now been integrated into the N7 series, so you can now use the OEM Diverity function as they are installed for example in the Audi without additional adapter. (see compatibility list)

DSP settings
By customizing the N7 software, you now have a lot more options to customize the sound. Not only are the preset sound schemes available, you can also individually balance all settings.

Lightning fast starting
Through improved communication with the vehicle via the CAN bus, it is possible that our Dynavin system starts when the vehicle is opened and starts to boot. So it is possible that when starting the vehicle, the system is already operational.
The new N7 series has been equipped with another feature.
You now have the option to turn the radio on again after removing the ignition key and thus opening the ignition contact.
This follow-up time is 15 minutes.

start Logo
With our own operating system DynOS you now have the possibility to provide the start screen or the stored radio stations with logos.
To do this you take pictures of the logos or individual pictures and save them on an SD card. By naming the pictures, the system recognizes which logo belongs to which station and retrieves it automatically.
This is also possible for the start screen.

Light sensor - more comfort
Dynavin has equipped the new N7 series with another sensor.
The light sensor measures the ambient light and, if selected in the system settings, can adjust the brightness of the display to the ambient conditions.

DVB-T2 directly controllable
Dynavin offers you again the possibility to extend your device with a DVB-T2 function. These are connected externally to the device.
Due to the new internal hardware structure, it is now possible to use both extensions simultaneously and control them directly via the touch screen.

Radio / telephone / Ipod:

radio
The surface of the radio has been redesigned, so we offer you a new clear line and a clear interface.
Thanks to the new hardware, it is now possible to connect diversity antennas, such as those found in Audi vehicles, to the device without an adapter. Likewise, as usual, the supply voltage of the antenna can be activated via the radio.
Stations are automatically scanned in the background by the AF function, and automatically switched when the signals are weakening.

Bluetooth Parrott
We have managed to win the market leader for hands-free equipment as a partner in the N7 series.
Through this cooperation with Parrot® we can offer you an established solution for the hands-free kit and the A2DP function. This includes not only transferring the phone book with up to 1000 entries or recording outgoing and incoming calls, but also playing music via A2DP.

iPod / iPhone / iPad
The new N7 platform has been awarded the "Made for iPod / iPhone / iPad" seal.
This means that the devices of Dynavin are specially equipped to control Apple devices.
As a result, you can continue to control the connected devices via the Dynavin N7 touchscreen as usual.
Simply plug in the original USB cable to Apple to connect, charge, and control the N7 device.

Multimedia, CD, USB, SD:

Internal memory
Another innovation is Dynavin's first internal memory.
The internal memory can be used to record songs or movies from your connected media such as a USB stick and then play them back. For example, the USB stick does not need to be permanently connected to play your favorite music.

USB / SD
Via the USB and SD cards you have the possibility to play audio and video data as well as pictures and text files.
You can use storage media up to 64GB in size.
Through the ID3 feature, as long as the songs contain this information, all captured information can be displayed on screen.
Likewise, ID3 information allows you to sort your songs and access them from different angles.

CD
Our drive was manufactured to the latest standards.
This includes an anti-shock feature that ensures playback of media without interruption.
With the "Last Memory Position" function, you'll never have to double-hear or see a movie or song again just because you're starting or stopping the car.

Sound / DSP:

Dynavin's redesigned software now makes it possible to offer a wider range of settings to create an enhanced sound experience.
It is now possible not only to individually adjust the individual sound sources, but you also have the opportunity to specify the acoustic center point exactly by the runtime settings of the individual loudspeakers.

9-band EQ
By customizing the N7 software, you now have much more options to customize the sound.
Not only are the preset sound schemes available, you can also individually balance and save all settings.

If your vehicle has an original sound system, thanks to the revised hardware, this can be addressed in most cases without additional adapters.
Such as the Nokia DSP or Bose sound system from Audi.
It is now even possible to control the DSP sound system from BMW, which is not possible in most cases.

Navigation:

Navigation software IGO Primo
All Dynavin devices of the N7 series are delivered with the IGO-Primo navigation software. The software is located on an SD or MicroSD card, which is inserted in the designated card slot.
The map material not only covers the whole of Europe, but includes maps from 46 countries.

One-time free update
Upon delivery, it may happen that not all maps are up to date, as they are constantly being revised.
Therefore, there is the possibility for you after receiving the software to bring the maps up to date.
After the first start of navigation through the device, you have a one-time free update available. To do so, register at www.naviextras.com and download the toolbox.
The following updates are chargeable. Tip: After receiving the navigation software, make a backup on your computer.

TMC / traffic jam messages
The TMC signals provide you with important traffic information when using navigation via the radio station.
These include traffic jams, accidents or other important traffic information. These are then used to recalculate or adjust routes.
The new N7 series eliminates the need for an additional TMC antenna. This is picked up via the radio antenna.

Parking system (PDC & rear view camera):

PDC
By accessing our interfaces on the CAN bus, we were able to read out the data for the PDC display and also to display it on the monitor of our devices.
This applies to the front and rear PDC systems. (see compatibility list)

backup camera
It is also possible to connect a retrofit camera to the system.
If your vehicle has an original built-in camera, it can be used in most cases by an additional adapter.
The internal switchover will display the image of the camera on the screen. If you have installed acoustic and optical systems, both systems can be used simultaneously.

parking aids
Thanks to the newly adapted interfaces between the vehicle and the Dynavin N7 series, we have been able to integrate most original PDC and reversing systems. So it is possible for you as usual to continue to use the acoustic or visual representations.
