The R-C12AD1 is a modern multimedia system with a capacitive 8" / 20.3 cm touchscreen display, DAB+ and FM tuner, three USB ports and Bluetooth system.

RADICAL's media center for the Audi A3 offers you innovative and comprehensive options for using your mobile phone in the car.

For example, you can use this Android car radio to surf the Internet via WLAN on the go , stream songs and films from the web, listen to internet radio and use Spotify.

And since the R-C12AD1 is designed as an open Android system, you can install your favorite apps directly on the Audi car radio: Only you decide which features you want to use in your AUDI A3.

Fits perfectly in the Audi A3

The RADICAL multimedia system can be perfectly integrated visually and technically into the Audi A3, A3 Facelift, A3 Sportback, A3 Sportback Facelift, A3 Cabrio as well as the Audi S3 and Audi RS3.

The CAN bus interface included in the scope of delivery of the media center handles the connection to the steering wheel remote control, multifunction display, reverse gear signal, handbrake signal status and vehicle lighting status.

Since the media receiver uses an open operating system based on Android 10.0, you can install 99.9 percent of all Android apps directly on the multimedia system - including your apps for the navigation. The internal 16 gigabyte flash memory offers enough space for your apps. In addition, the R-C12AD1 has an extremely powerful quad-core ARM ® Cortex-A7 (1.3 GHz) processor with 2 gigabytes of RAM - the result: All applications and background processes are extremely stable and liquid.

Built as an open Android system, you can install and use an Android navigation app directly on the Mediacenter R-C12AD1. And if you want a permanently installed navigation system, you can simply activate the R-MAPC10 offline navigation system pre-installed on the Audi infotainer with a license code.

Free choice of stations: FM and DAB+ radio

The built-in FM RDS tuner ensures reception of non-digital, analogue radio stations. With the integrated DAB+ tuner, you get pure digital radio – intoxicating, clear, diverse. Thanks to the MOT slideshow, station list and DLS text, the DAB+ tuner is easy to use.

Mirroring for your apps - EasyConnection

You want to mirror your apps to the R-C12AD1 screen? No problem. With EasyConnection, you can mirror the screen content of your Android cell phone, including apps such as YouTube, onto the R-C12AD1 multimedia system and operate it via its touchscreen. EasyConnection can also be used with Apple iPhones, but the mirrored apps must then be operated via the iPhone screen.
