The R-C12VW2 is a vehicle-specific multimedia system with a capacitive 10.1"/25.7 cm touchscreen monitor, DAB+ and FM radio, three USB ports and an integrated Bluetooth unit for hands-free calling and music streaming. With this Golf 7 Android car radio, you can access the Internet via WLAN and WiFi, stream films and music from the web, use Spotify or receive Internet radio. But that's not all: designed as an open Android OS system, you can install the Android apps of your choice directly on the R-C12VW2 - you decide which mobile phone tools you want to use in your vehicle.

The Media Receiver uses an open operating system based on Android 10.0. You can therefore simply transfer all Android apps that you want to use in the car, including navigation apps, to the media center with the pre-installed APK installer and then operate them via the touchscreen. The range of functions of the RADICAL can be expanded almost infinitely and optimally tailored to your needs. The 16 GB flash memory offers enough memory for your apps. Thanks to its quad-core ARM ® Cortex-A7 (1.3 GHz) processor with 2 GB RAM, the R-C12VW2 moniceiver impresses with its smooth performance.

Navigation system for VW Golf 7

Built as an open Android system, you can install and use an Android navigation app directly on the Mediacenter R-C12VW2. Offline OSM navigation with maps for Europe is already installed on the multimedia system and can be activated using an optional activation code - this is how you easily turn your multimedia system into a vehicle-specific permanently installed navigation system for your Golf 7.

EasyConnection for smartphones

EasyConnection allows you to mirror an Android smartphone to the moniceiver and then operate it via the infotainer's touchscreen: an important function for apps where you manage and save the data on the cell phone. Apple iPhones are also supported by EasyConnection - with the restriction that the mirrored apps must be operated from the iPhone.

The RADICAL multimedia system for VW integrates perfectly into the Volkswagen Golf 7 MkI, both optically and technically. The scope of delivery includes a CAN bus interface that connects to the steering wheel remote control, multifunction display, electromagnetic parking sensors (EPS), optical parking system, reverse gear signal, handbrake signal status, vehicle lighting status, air conditioning control + status, on-board computer, Car menu and active systems.
