DAB + digital radio with seamless blending

The DAB + tuner receives the extensive range of digitally broadcast radio programs, even at high speeds, free of noise, crackling and level fluctuations - and not only in Germany, because DAB programs are now also available in many other European countries. All available DAB stations can be selected directly from a list shown on the radio display. And if a sufficiently strong DAB broadcast signal is not available, the tuner automatically switches to the appropriate FM frequency without audible interruption. "Seamless Blending", an intelligent data buffer, ensures seamless cross-fading without disruptive level and time offsets.

iPod / iPhone control

Thanks to the iPod direct control of the Kenwood DMX125DAB, iPods or iPhones can be connected directly to the rear USB port and operated via the touchscreen. Individual tracks, albums or artists can be selected and played. The Apple player connected to the USB port is charged by the charging current (1A) during operation

Android USB mirroring

Android USB mirroring enables the display of compatible smartphones to be mirrored thanks to digital image data transfer via USB. This allows navigation apps and other helpful applications in particular to be used. The mirrored content can even be conveniently operated directly via the touchscreen.

Very shallow installation depth

The Mechaless Moniceiver DMX125DAB does not need a CD / DVD drive and was designed in such a way that the installation depth was reduced by more than half. Instead of the 160 mm installation depth otherwise usual for double DIN devices, the model only requires 75 mm. The moniceiver can also be installed in extremely tight installation shafts.

Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit

The Bluetooth module enables safe and convenient phone calls while driving. The voice quality is ensured by the included external microphone and sophisticated sound processing with suppression of echo and background noises. For audio streaming via A2DP, the AVRCP 1.5 profile with extended control and search functions including display of title, artist, album, etc. is used. Thanks to touch menus, operating all Bluetooth functions is child's play, access to the phone book of the cell phone is just as possible as the callback function.
