DAB + digital radio with seamless blending

The DAB + tuner receives the more than 200 digital radio stations available in Germany free of noise, crackling and level fluctuations. And if a sufficiently strong DAB broadcast signal is not available, the tuner automatically and temporarily switches to the appropriate FM frequency without audible interruption. "Seamless Blending", an intelligent data buffer, ensures seamless cross-fading without disruptive level and time offsets.

Variable lighting

The lighting color of the LC display and the control buttons can be individually adapted to the vehicle interior. In addition to preset colors, there are also completely freely adjustable color tones to choose from via RGB. In addition, the manual dimmer allows the brightness of the display and key lighting to be adjusted depending on the ambient light. Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit

The Bluetooth module enables safe and convenient phone calls while driving. For wireless music streaming via A2DP, the AVRCP 1.6 profile is used with extended control and search functions including the integration of existing information on title, artist, album or genre.

5 Phone Music Mix

The "Music Mix" function allows up to 5 smartphones to be connected to the car radio as a Bluetooth audio source at the same time and to switch back and forth between the A2DP streams of the individual players at any time. This can be done either via a button on the Kenwood car radio or simply by starting the smartphone music player. Switching between the various audio players takes place without delay.

Spotify Control

Kenwood "Spotify Control" enables all essential Spotify functions to be controlled via the radio. This allows you to scroll through the Spotify playlists, albums, tracks and artists, or search for genres and other information. DSP with digital time correction

The DSP of the KDC-BT450DAB can improve the sound in the car in many ways. The equalizer with 13 bands allows, for example, vehicle-specific peaks or troughs in the frequency response to be balanced out, thus ensuring a harmonious sound. The digital time-of-flight correction makes it possible to compensate for the influence of the loudspeaker position on the acoustic image of the room.

Kenwood Remote App

The Kenwood Remote App turns compatible Android smartphones into a comprehensive remote control for all Kenwood Bluetooth car radios. The app is controlled via large touch buttons or voice control for basic commands such as pause or skip tracks. And even more extensive equalizer settings or runtime correction can be made using the app on the smartphone. The Kenwood Remote App is available free of charge from the Google Playstore.
