The Alpine Freestyle systems have been developed to meet the ever-growing demand for individual installation systems. This Alpine Freestyle system is particularly intended for vehicles that require an individual installation method due to a lack of installation options in the vehicle. This makes it possible to install a 9-inch screen in vehicles without the corresponding device holder.
For the installation of these Freestyle systems, we recommend contacting a specialized Alpine installation partner and getting advice on the options for an optimal installation.
The 4th generation Alpine Freestyle digital media station has a high-resolution 9-inch WXGAHD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, extensive media options including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wired). In addition, 2 USB and camera connections as well as a DAB+ digital radio tuner are integrated into the system.
This is how you bring exceptionally good sound quality into your vehicle: The Alpine Freestyle System is one of the world's first head units with an integrated Class-D amplifier and has a wide range of professional sound tuning functions such as a 2-way crossover, a parametric EQ, digital time correction and many other options for sound improvement.
Freestyle System for an individual and vehicle-specific installation
Alpine Freestyle Systems are very popular with our professional installation partners because they offer the option of installing multi-media systems in vehicles that are not compatible with 1-DIN or 2-DIN systems and for which no vehicle-specific solution is available. The new i905D-F uses the same platform as our current Alpine Halo9 system and offers the customer a high resolution 9" HD touchscreen, Apple CarPlay Wireless and Android Auto (wired, two USB ports, built-in DAB+ and Bluetooth and many other amazing features to build a professional entertainment system.
All parts for installation included
The i905D-F Freestyle system includes a high resolution 9" WXGA HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720p, fully customizable keypads, a 1-DIN black box, a GPS antenna, a connection harness and a universal button mounting frame. These are all the necessary components required for a vehicle specific installation.
Customizable key combination
Depending on the installation situation, the 2 key fields can be installed horizontally or vertically. The key positions can be assigned individually using the interchangeable keys. This has the advantage that the key layout can be adjusted to personal preferences, as well as to left- or right-hand drive vehicles.
The lighting color of the control buttons and the background lighting of the freestyle system can be adjusted to the dashboard lighting using 6 different colors (white, red, yellow, amber, blue and green). The brightness can be varied in 2 levels.
23 cm (9-inch) WXGA HD display
The large 9-inch WXGA HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720p and over 2.7 million pixels ensures that symbols, menus and visual content in your dashboard appear razor-sharp and vivid.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
For even more convenience, the i905D-F offers wireless connection to the iPhone via Apple CarPlay Wireless. This means that iPhone users can leave the phone in their pocket in the vehicle and conveniently make calls, read and answer text messages, use music apps and even navigate. Apple CarPlay can be accessed via the capacitive touchscreen or the voice selection button to activate Siri voice control.
2x USB ports
With two USB ports, the Alpine i905D-F offers you the media variety you need on your travels. For example, you can use the USB ports on the back of the device to connect a mobile device for charging, while the second USB port lets you connect a USB stick or hard drive to access audio and video files.
TIDAL Hi-Res Audio App
With the integrated "TIDAL" app, "TIDAL" users can enjoy the high-res streaming experience with "TIDAL" and access a selection of over 90 million songs and 450,000 videos. "TIDAL" HiFi and HiFi Plus members receive lossless audio and high-fidelity music for superior sound quality that significantly enhances the music experience. TIDAL Masters, provided in collaboration with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA), allows HiFi Plus members to experience music the way the artist intended. With thousands of expertly selected playlists, users can listen to all genres and discover new artists via TIDAL Rising.
The world's first head unit with an integrated Class D amplifier
The i905D-F is the world's first aftermarket head unit to feature an integrated Class D amplifier with 4x 50 watts of power. This amplifier has excellent high-end sound reproduction with extremely reduced noise and barely measurable phase shifts. The main advantage of Class D amplifier technology is the high efficiency of around 90%, compared to 50-70% for Class AB amplifiers. A new cooling concept with internal heat sinks ensures that your Alpine Halo11 always has the right working temperature - and plays your favorite music.
Enjoy the excellent sound quality
With a parametric 56-band equalizer, the digital crossover, a digital 6-channel time delay correction and several Bass Engine SQ presets and MediaXpander sound tuning options, you have excellent options at your disposal to perfectly tune your Alpine Halo11 or connected amplifier/speaker systems. But that's not all: The Alpine Halo11 car radio is Hi-Res Audio certified and can decode and play Hi-Res audio files up to 96 kHz / 1,536 kbps from uncompressed USB sources in formats such as FLAC, WAV and APE.
Various entertainment options
The completely newly developed 1.5x DAB+/FM/AM tuner enables switching between DAB and FM and lets you enjoy seamless radio reception without interruptions. In addition to the extended USB video playback formats (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV), the Alpine Halo11 offers many additional entertainment options. The integrated Bluetooth module allows you to use audio streaming from your phone and an HDMI input enables the connection of an external video playback device.
Vehicle data bus connection
If your vehicle is equipped with parking sensors and, you can still use these handy features with your i905D-F. Alpine offers many vehicle data bus connections to connect your Alpine i905D-F to your vehicle's data bus system. This enables compatibility with your vehicle's steering wheel remote control, display of the air conditioning settings as well as display of the parking sensors.
Parking assist technology
The optional rear view camera systems offer even more safety with the latest camera technology. The rear view camera is automatically activated when reversing and interrupts the audio signal so that you can still hear the parking sensors. Not only do you have a clear view to the rear, but you also have special guide lines. You can even activate a trailer hitch guide line to make coupling your trailer much easier. A camera direct button is provided for quick camera access while driving.
External volume control with camera activation
The separately available RUE-BK01 volume control connects wirelessly to the Alpine i905D-F via Bluetooth and can be mounted on the left or right rear of the touchscreen. Alternatively, you can mount the rotary knob anywhere else in the vehicle. Turning the knob adjusts the volume of the head unit. By pressing the button, the rear view camera can be activated on the screen while driving.
Note: This volume button is not active when the Apple CarPlay Wireless function is activated.
