Especially in combination with an Apple CarPlay or Android Auto compatible Kenwood moniceiver and the associated map display and control via the large touchscreen, navigation apps on the cell phone become an indispensable travel companion for motorhome owners! In addition to the Kenwood-Sygic bundle, all you need is a compatible iOS or Android smartphone on which the Sygic app is installed.

Optimal for motorhome enthusiasts: the camper package with Sygic navigation and Kenwood multimedia monitor

For owners of motorhomes who have to take additional parameters into account when calculating the route, such as headroom, maximum width or length of the vehicle, there has previously been practically no possibility of using a navigation app for motorhomes via the display of a corresponding moniceiver.  Now exactly this combination of touchscreen monitor with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a special navigation app for motorhomes from Kenwood is available! Thanks to an exclusive edition of the Sygic app, all the advantages of these navigation functions can be used with all Premium+ functions including route guidance optimized for motorhomes via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto with a Kenwood moniceiver.

Our Sygic navigation bundles include an individual QR code with which you can use the full range of the Sygic navigation app, including the special functions mentioned, for a period of 3 years. The license is valid for up to three smartphones - so multiple users of a motorhome can use the Sygic app. All you have to do is download the version of Sygic GPS Navigation that is freely available in the app stores and activate the Premium+ version according to the instructions included in the device bundle - and you're ready to go!

Caravan navigation via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto

It is finally possible to conveniently use the Sygic app including all Premium+ benefits and special caravan routing via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto via a Kenwood moniceiver! The navigation announcements are displayed in the active audio source and played back via the speakers in the vehicle. After installing and activating the app using the Kenwood QR code, the one-time setup for the vehicle type, dimensions and properties is carried out on the smartphone. Afterwards, all functions of the Sygic GPS navigation app can be fully used via the Kenwood Moniceiver.

The Kenwood Moniceiver with the exclusive Camper version of the Sygic app navigates reliably even if you don't have a cell phone signal. The detailed 3D map material can be saved directly on the smartphone and can therefore be used for navigation regardless of mobile phone reception. On top of that, you also save on mobile data volume because you don't have to constantly load map data while you're on the go. Simply save the maps you need directly on your smartphone before you start your journey. Maps for 46 countries* can be downloaded across Europe. The map data is updated monthly so that you always have the latest map material available. From newly built roads, changed traffic routing to current speed limits - you are always up to date so that you arrive safely.

Many additional functions with Premium+

The version of the Sygic GPS Navigation app with caravan routing included in the Kenwood Bundle also offers all additional functions of the Premium+ version of the Sygic GPS Navigation app for a period of 3 years. This includes a detailed intersection view and lane assistant for quick orientation when turning. The driving instructions can be issued in different languages and with different voices. A cellular connection is required if you want to use individual functions such as real-time traffic information, fuel prices, mobile speed warnings or parking information.

Tailor-made routes for you and your motorhome

If you are traveling with your caravan or motorhome, routes have to be planned differently than with a normal car. With the 3-year license for the Sygic GPS navigation app with caravan routing included in the Kenwood bundle, exactly these special requirements are met according to the stored parameters vehicle dimensions and total weight are taken into account in route guidance. For example, bridges that are too low or particularly narrow streets are avoided. Additional settings can also be made, for example to exclude toll roads or to display the elevation of the roads. You will also be warned in good time about sharp curves, speed limits and changes in road conditions.

Comfortable navigation with points of interest

Using the POI search you can find many interesting and useful destinations such as restaurants, gas stations or sights. Detailed information on numerous POIs allows you to incorporate individual stops along the planned route. Of course, there are also thousands of camping or parking spaces stored in the POI database. In addition, the Sygic app offers interfaces to many common camper apps such as Park4Night or Parking Space Radar. When searching for a parking space, the desired destination can be selected using a camper app and transferred to the Sygic GPS navigation app. When searching for a destination, it is of course also possible to enter GPS coordinates directly in the search bar. 

Speed limits and speed cameras in view

Sygic GPS navigation always shows the current speed and the maximum permitted speed. Clear visual and acoustic warnings as well as thousands of mobile and stationary speed checks prevent unpleasant surprises.

surveillance systems, red light cameras and average speed checks, as well as mobile speed cameras that are reported daily.
