If you want a premium sound system on board, you can't do without a real marine speaker system! The Alpine SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W 16.5 cm 2-way coaxial speakers were specially developed for the ultimate listening pleasure on board. Their high power handling makes these speakers the ideal companion in the world of ultimate sound.
Equipped with a PEI tweeter dome and poly/mica woofer cone, the SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W Type-S speakers produce crystal-clear highs and a well-balanced bass-midrange performance. The Centrex-813 coated grills and the high-strength ABS chassis ensure UV light resistance and protection against yellowing. The speakers are coated with Santoprene™ for a first-class frequency response and reliable resistance to moisture, oil, heat and chemicals. The chassis also have the best stability and resistance to maritime environmental conditions.

These speakers are made from selected, proven marine-grade materials - this makes them robust and durable. Go Open Air All speakers, as well as the subwoofer, are designed to deliver the best sound on deck and in the cockpit without any limits - without the need for a housing.

Marine - Ready

The ASTM salt/humidity specification and the NEMA waterproof rating at level IPx5 confirm that all Alpine marine speakers can withstand typical maritime conditions without damage. 

Two models to choose from

Maximum installation flexibility for every boat! The Alpine Marine 2-way speakers are available in two sizes: the 16.5 cm OEM standard size speaker SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W and the 17.8 cm sound upgrade SPR-M700.

Perfect speaker-amplifier combination

All Alpine Marine speakers have been perfectly matched to the PDX Marine amplifiers and thus achieve the best system homogeneity. The components also form an unbeatable crew in terms of sound characteristics and audio performance.

Designed for perfect installation with maximum resistance to water exposure

The cover design with hidden screws and rubber seal ensures flush, waterproof installation. All parts - including the speaker connections - are resistant to salt water corrosion. The SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W is also magnetically shielded. This prevents interference from other electronics on board and allows it to be placed anywhere you want.

Tweeter in special marine design

The titanium tweeter dome of the SPR-M700 and the balanced PEI tweeters of the SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W ensure a maximum sound spectrum - even in open-air operation on long journeys! To optimize the sound focus, the SPR-M700 tweeter can be swiveled, and a built-in protection keeps its volume constant. Both tweeters are absolutely salt water and corrosion resistant.

Chassis made of high-strength material

All speakers have high-strength polypropylene chassis that withstand UV light and corrosion without damage and keep the speaker's interior reliably functional. The chassis also have the best stability and are unaffected by any kind of vibration on board.
