The electroacoustic parameters of the MP 165P.3 car audio woofers have been shaped to produce the pure and solid sound of an authentic mid-bass designed for highly dynamic systems.
The voice coil, with a generous height of 14 mm, has a nominal impedance of 3 ohms in addition to an increased power handling capacity.
These features offer the possibility of making maximum use of the performance of the Hertz HCP and HDP amplifiers, as well as the 2 ohm stable electronics.
The 95 mm diameter ferrite magnet enables a linear deflection of the voice coil of +/- 4.5 mm and ensures optimal control at all times.
The Boundary Free Surround moves a larger amount of air and the V-cone profile improves the off-axis dispersion, the actual listening situation in the car.
In addition, the sophisticated aluminum alloy basket neutralizes unwanted vibrations.

Pure copper voice coil

wound on a polyamide former for high power handling, combined with very low intermodulation distortion of the vocals.

Exponential V-Cone profile

geometrically optimized for maximum linearity and dispersion in the mid-frequency range.
