The AP 6.5 Ω2 woofer has been designed with a nominal impedance of 2 ohms to convert the total power provided by the AP8.9-bit amplifier from 65W to a 2 ohm load. In order to increase the efficiency of the woofer to 95 dB, a coil with 10 mm coil height and a diameter of 25 mm was used, which is not only much lighter, but also a 2.8 mm higher deflection than AP 6.5 (4 ohms) ) offers. Therefore, ensure high SPL values ​​with minimal distortion even at high listening levels. In order to reduce the frequency range of the woofer to low frequencies up to 50 Hz, a 75 Hz resonance frequency was selected, which enables an excellent low-frequency output even without the use of a subwoofer.
