Small installation depths of loudspeakers are becoming more and more important for many applications, but often flat loudspeakers sound quite thin due to the limited stroke in the bass range and represent a musical compromise. With the newly developed BRUTUS BRX series, HiFonics has brilliantly managed to change this. Even the 2-way system BRX6.2C with a nominal size of 16.5 cm and an installation depth of just 42 mm not only fits into almost every opening, it also impresses with its very good bass performance. This is primarily due to the completely newly developed carbon fiber membrane, which is extremely stable and yet very light - a must, especially with flat speakers. The 20 mm fabric neodymium tweeter is relieved of the low frequencies by means of a cable crossover. Thanks to the compact design of the switch, installation is also easy here.
