The ZEUS series have stood for power and excellent sound in the HiFonics range for many years. For the first time, in addition to composite systems and coax systems, individual components such as high-quality cast aluminum midrange drivers and basses are available, so that 3-way combinations are possible. The woofer in the component set (available separately as ZX6.2W) comes with a cast aluminum basket and an aluminum phase plug. The sandwich membrane consists of a triple fiberglass composite material, which is particularly light but nevertheless particularly stable. The frequency response is extremely linear and hardly needs any corrections using "frequency crossover tricks". The powerful magnetic drive with a weight of 14 ounces, which drives a very large 30.5 mm voice coil, provides a lot of power. Overall, a mechanical stroke of up to +/- 11 mm is possible. The 25 mm fabric neodymium tweeter ZX6.2T with coupling volume (resonance frequency 700Hz), which is also available separately, covers a particularly large frequency range up to well over 24 kHz in a very linear manner.

The highlight of the 2-way Kompo-Set, however, is that it is already prepared for 3-way operation: So you can also connect the 7.5 cm optional midrange speaker ZXM3 to the crossover ZXO-2 with little effort: Simply the jumpers switch to 3-way in the crossover, connect midrange with bandpass crossover; finished. The midrange driver also shines with excellent components such as a cast aluminum basket, an aluminum membrane, a large 25 mm voice coil and an extra ventilated centering spider and powerful neodymium drive.
