The development of the new CSM loudspeakers for Mercedes-Benz vehicles also focused on a significant improvement in sound and a higher load capacity compared to the original systems. Super-light fiberglass membranes and efficient neodymium magnet drives also ensure high-efficiency sound performance in the CSM models even with low amplifier power. Thanks to the efficient 38 mm CCAW voice coils, the 20 cm bass loudspeakers generate a sound pressure of 89 dB / W / m. The 10 cm loudspeakers, on the other hand, are equipped with not exactly smaller 30 mm CCAW voice coils, which also provide great sound experiences. The 25 mm titanium tweeter CSM1T (also included in the CSM4.2C) with neodymium magnet drive impresses with its linear frequency response of over 20 kHz and crystal clear highs.
