AXTON ATS-B100X 2-way 10 cm (4") coaxial loudspeaker

All components and connectors are a perfect fit, the sound is specially optimized for the vehicle acoustics.

The center of the 2-way coaxial system ATS-B100X is the 10 cm midrange speaker, equipped with the new, specially manufactured CRYSTAX membrane. It consists of a very harmonious-sounding, highly dampening paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.
These crystals, with their extremely high step response, ensure the desired precision of the sound.
The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and supports the defined, clear sound.
The entire vibration unit - membrane with rubber surround, Nomex centering spider and 1" inch voice coil - are held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the striking AXTON design.
The basket offers excellent stability despite the delicate struts, which at the same time provide sufficient space for the rear sound to develop and reduce reflections.
Equipped with a precise-sounding 19 mm aluminum membrane, clamped in a slightly dampening fabric surround, the tweeter of the ATS-B100X delivers precise music details with an extremely pleasant sound.
The special dome geometry ensures that the tweeter offers the best performance in the respective installation positions of the different vehicles.
This means you can experience a consistent high-frequency level and fantastic spatial depth in every seating position.
To complement the coaxial system, there are two precisely fitting, vehicle-specific 8" / 20 cm under-seat bass speakers from AXTON - ATS-BSUB2 (2 Ohm) and ATS-BSUB4 (4 Ohm) - for a defined, impressively strong bass.

The SPECIFIC series for BMW vehicles consists of a total of eight models.
Three Compos and Coax systems for the different vehicle models as well as two variants of under-seat bass with 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coil.

The tweeter

Equipped with an analytically precise 19 mm aluminum membrane, clamped in a slightly dampening fabric surround, this tweeter delivers exact music details with an extremely pleasant sound.
The geometry of the dome is selected to offer the best performance in the given installation position of the vehicle.
This means that you get a consistent high frequency level and fantastic spatial depth over a wide area in the vehicle.
The dome is surrounded by a stable touch protection in the unique AXTON design.

The midrange speaker

Sounds that get under your skin: that is our aim.
We use a new technology as a membrane, a special material mix consisting of an acoustically very harmonious and highly dampening paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.
These crystals, with their extremely high step response, ensure the desired precision of the sound.
We call this special membrane CRYSTAX.
The entire vibration unit, i.e. the membrane with rubber surround, the Nomex centering spider and the 1 inch voice coil, are held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the striking Axton design.
This new basket offers excellent stability despite the filigree struts, which in turn offer the rear sound enough space to develop and reduce reflections.
