The under-seat bass ATS-BSUB2 is a perfect addition to the BMW-compatible AXTON speaker systems to retrofit an underseat subwoofer in the BMW or to replace a factory system.
The powerful subwoofer pair is suitable for installation under the seats, fits perfectly into the original installation spaces and can be installed thanks to Plug & Simply connect the Play connection terminal to the original plugs.
The 20 cm woofer of the ATS-BSUB2 is equipped with an amplified version of the new AXTON CRYSTAX membrane.
It consists of a very harmonious sounding, highly dampening paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.
These crystals, with their extremely high step response, ensure the desired precision of the sound.
The entire vibration unit - membrane with rubber surround, Nomex centering spider and 2" voice coil (2 Ohm) - is held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the striking AXTON design.
The basket, together with the metal carrier, offers excellent stability and almost unhindered sound radiation.
The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and a defined, impressively strong bass with plenty of depth.

The SPECIFIC series for BMW vehicles consists of a total of eight models.
Three compos and coax systems for each of the different vehicle models, as well as two variants of under-seat bass with 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coil.

The subwoofer

Hard bass with depth - the wish of every music lover who wants to let it rip. Feel the room-filling bass - from the energetic kicks of the bass drums or the gripping vibrato of a double bass. We use a new technology as the membrane, a special material mix consisting of a stiffened paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.
These crystals, with their extremely high jump response, ensure the desired precision of the sound.
We call this special membrane CRYSTAX.
The entire vibration unit, i.e. the membrane with rubber surround, the Nomex centering spider and the 2 inch voice coil, are held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the striking Axton design.
This new basket, together with the metal support, offers excellent stability despite the delicate struts, which in turn give the sound enough space to unfold and reduce reflections.
