MONOLITH ECP-M6X Compo - created for musical masterpieces

The ECP-M6X is the new top model in the MONOLITH series and boasts important technological highlights: the new M25TX tweeter with 25 mm aluminum membrane plays precisely and with attention to detail up to 40 kHz, the woofer comes in the new EMPHASER FlowMax basket design and has an ultra-strong drive with a force factor (BL) of 6.2 N/A, a perfectly symmetrical progressive centering over the maximum membrane stroke of +/- 8 mm. Together with the precise aluminum membrane, everything is possible with the ECP-M6X: listening to the music details at low volumes and brutal level attacks for a broad grin.
The ECP-M6X is offered as an active 2-way compo system without crossovers.

The woofer

The new aluminum membrane is responsible for the high precision of the ECP-M6X.
It combines high rigidity and a direct step response for extremely detailed music reproduction. The membrane thickness is selected to provide the stability for heavy bass attacks and the necessary lightness for precise mids.
The durable butyl surround ensures that the ECP-M6X loses none of its precise reproduction even at high levels and thus high membrane deflections.
The active component owes its clean, crisp bass foundation and level capabilities to the powerful 100 x 20 mm strontium ferrite magnet, the heavy-duty 38 mm voice coil and the 6 mm thick, flat-milled pole plate of the woofer.
The phase plug ensures optimal sound radiation at angles - ideal for the intended installation in the footwell of the vehicle door.
The carrier of the carefully selected components is the minimalist designed EMPHASER FlowMax aluminum die-cast basket. The very open construction with the filigree struts gives the rear-radiated sound a maximum of space and a minimum of unwanted reflection surfaces that can influence the sound.
Despite its filigree design, the sophisticated basket construction offers enormous stability.
Another innovation is the new EMPHASER screw terminal: although very solid, it takes up very little space and ensures secure signal transmission with the force-locking connection using solid hexagon screws and gold-plated contact surfaces.

The tweeter

The new ECP-M25TX tweeter with 25 mm aluminum membrane plays precisely and with attention to detail up to 40 kHz.
The membrane geometry offers a uniform directional characteristic for excellent sound in a wide variety of installation situations.
In addition to the low weight of the membrane, surround and voice coil, the conscious decision not to use ferrofluid is responsible for the tweeter being extremely lively, three-dimensional and free of discoloration.
The protective grille with its very large opening area offers high sound permeability and low reflection areas.
The supplied mounting housing enables installation in two different beam angles for perfect adaptation to the vehicle acoustics.
