The result is a sound that not only retains the audiophile charm of the Titan loudspeakers, but surpasses it in many details.
The newly used composite membranes made from a MICA/paper mixture, which have proven to be superior in terms of sound to the earlier membranes in many listening tests, make a significant contribution to the sound improvement of the new TITAN TRX loudspeakers.
Thanks to the ultra-light, very stable and excellently dampening MICA membrane composition, bass and mid frequencies are always reproduced precisely and powerfully and distortion is minimized.
The sound always remains neutral, clear and balanced. This means that every piece of music is reproduced in all its detail and dynamics.
Both TRX systems are equipped with high-quality crossover networks which not only ensure precise separation of the tweeter and woofer, but also have a 3-stage tweeter level adjustment to enable optimal sound adjustment.
The new 25 mm TITAN TRX tweeter, which is also available separately in pairs, is now much more compact!
The outer diameter is only 49 instead of 61 mm; the installation diameter is only 44 instead of 53 mm.
With its flat design of only 9 mm installation depth, it fits easily into many original installation spaces.
If there is no factory installation space for the tweeter in the vehicle, the surface-mounted housing included in the delivery can be used.
