Based on the technologies used in our flagship C7 speakers, the C6-650cw component woofer benefits from JL Audio's extensive experience in woofer design and advanced modeling systems.
Ideal for active systems, the C6-650cw component woofer features a proprietary cast alloy frame equipped with our Elevated Frame Cooling™ technology and a DMA-optimized motor system to produce excellent mid-bass with extremely low distortion.
Passive crossovers are not included with C6 drivers as they are designed for active systems. Instead, we recommend a high-quality digital signal processor with tuning, such as the JL Audio TwK DSP, or a VXi amplifier with integrated DSP and a dedicated amplifier channel for each C6 loudspeaker in the system.
Precise adjustment of equalization, delay and crossover filters ensures optimum performance in the vehicle.

C6-650cw Component Woofer Features:

• Forged and machined motor plates with DMA optimized geometry to produce linear motor force under tension, resulting in outstanding mid-bass impact, linearity and low distortion
• Large diameter, linear profile, flat spider for linear compliance and outstanding excursion capability
• Center cap to optimize the woofer's high frequency response for a seamless transition to a tweeter response
• Oversized voice coil for extended power handling, minimizing thermal compression and distortion at higher listening levels
• Cast alloy frame with our Elevated Frame Cooling feature
• Includes a fine mesh grille
