Custom-Fit (CF) Speaker System: 3.5" (90mm) Mid-Tweeter

CF speakers are engineered to deliver amazing sound from the factory position.
They feature low-profile polymer frames and removable mounting tabs for maximum compatibility with today's most popular vehicles, including those from Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Toyota and many more. 
CF drivers benefit from our proprietary FEA modeling and expertise in speaker design.
This knowledge is used to create speakers that play loud while maintaining smooth, dynamic sound with low distortion.
At the heart of the CF-350mt mid-tweeter is a proprietary 3.5" (90mm) composite frame and DMA optimized motor system.
A Ultra-lightweight, fiber-reinforced pulp cone with a custom "S" roll surround provides excellent efficiency and extended high frequency response.
A flat, progressive roll spider provides linear compliance while the neodymium motor packs amazing energy from an ultra-compact and lightweight enclosure.
Each speaker's glass-filled, high-temperature polymer frame features molded-in terminals and a flat perforated metal grille that easily fits behind factory trim while providing excellent UV protection in exposed areas of the dashboard.
For passive mid-tweeter applications, inline second-order high-pass filters are included to improve smoothness and increase power handling.
CF-350mt speakers can also be used actively as true midrange or mid-tweeters to create excellent two- or three-way systems.
For active applications, we recommend a high-quality digital signal processor (DSP), such as the JL Audio TwK DSP or a VXi amplifier with integrated DSP, and the bandwidths recommended below.
