Introducing the ultimate subwoofer
The new subwoofers of the X-series were developed according to the "Alpine ID" sound philosophy. This focuses very focused on high-precision components for excellent sound reproduction. A three-layer magnetic ring encloses a very long voice coil, which allows a very high deflection. With a specially shaped CRC-Pol geometry with incorporated cooling fins, a very good cooling of the drive system is ensured. The aluminum short-circuit ring generates damping resonance-calming currents as the voice coil moves, smoothing the frequency response of the subwoofer. The membrane is clamped by two center spiders and held by our patented HAMR bead. The high stability of double centering, along with the even rolling motion of the multi-roll bead create an incredibly linear membrane motion. All this together makes the ultimate subwoofer!

Best technologies, for optimal bass
With an Xmax of 24 mm, the subwoofer is the best in its class and allows a diaphragm deflection of up to 5 cm. To build a powerful yet precise subwoofer, we had to implement several technologies that kept this membrane displacement under control. The HAMR bead offers a long linear stroke. A shorting ring keeps the THD low while a specific heat sink with built-in CRC pole and shorting cap maintains high driving force. These aspects together give an incredibly precise and powerful bass.

A lot of power, a lot of bass and still a lot of space
The powerful and efficient drive combined with the optimal suspension gives the X Series subwoofer the ability to produce powerful and precise bass in very small, closed cabinets. With a mere 15.6 l volume ( 28.3 l for the 12-inch), the 25 cm (10-inch) X-Series subwoofer can reproduce extremely low frequencies and inspire you with a deep bass and yet plenty of boot space.

Attractive attachment and membrane cover
These subwoofers feature a twist-lock bezel that makes it easy to attach the metal mesh. With a simple twist, the ornamental ring snaps in, covers the fixing screws and simultaneously locks the supplied metal grille. The cover can be installed with or without grille.

The amplifier X-A90M is perfect for this task. With 900W of power and customized specifications of both components, subwoofers and amplifiers were built under the same "Alpine ID" sound philosophy. With the focus on dynamic and realistic sound reproduction for a particularly spatial sound impression, the subwoofers X-W12D4 / X-W10D4 are supplied with the clean, low-distortion output power of the amplifier and the> 1500 attenuation factor.
